Pastel Painting

for beginning and intermediate students

Beginning late September (date to be announced)

6 Wednesdays, 1:30 - 3:30 pm

Tuition: $180

Note: For those who cannot make all 6 consecutive classes, 2 make-up sessions are scheduled after the 6 weeks.  For those who have attended all 6 weeks, you may continue for $15 per session.
Location: Lynchburg
This class includes demonstrations on techniques, composition, and experimenting with materials. If you are new to pastels, please don’t purchase supplies until the first class. Students will be working on their own compositions with individual instruction. I will help you decide on materials suitable for you. Materials may be purchased at the Art Box.

This class is for beginning and intermediate levels however, advanced students are welcome!  Particularly if they can’t attend the morning class. Please contact Christine for more information and to register at 434-907-1367.

Pastel Painting

for advanced students

Beginning late September (date to be announced)
6 Wednesdays, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
or full day 10:30 am - 3:30 pm
Tuition: $180 morning or $195 for full day (with brief afternoon critiques)
Note: For those who cannot make all 6 consecutive classes 2 make-up sessions are scheduled after the 6 weeks.  For those who have attended all 6 sessions, you may continue for $15 half day or $20 full day.
Location: Lynchburg

This class is for students with previous experience using soft pastels and understanding basic composition and color theory.  The class includes demos, discussions and critiques.
